For every stay at Windtower, a portion of the proceeds is donated to EcoStay to offset the environmental impacts of a hotel stay. With that financing, EcoStay is able to undertake projects, which go to reducing our greenhouse gases. Some of their projects include a composting site in Trois-Rivière, Quebec, a landfill gas capture project in Thorold, Ontario, and the Soderglen Wind Farm in Fort McLeod, Alberta.
