Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park
March will play host to the final of three exciting Nordic Centre events in the park: the annual Canmore Winter Meltdown Triathlon on March 31 www.canmorewintermeltdown.com

Para Snowboard World Cup and Snowboard Nationals - Nakiska
From April 2 to 7, Canada Snowboard will welcome national & international riders from across the country to the 2012 Canada Snowboard Speed Nationals and WSF Para-Snowboard World Cup at Nakiska, Alberta. This exciting event will feature the Para World Cup snowboard cross events on April 2nd and 3rd. Tartan Day
The Government of Canada officially recognizes April 6 as Tartan Day, and encourages Canadians across the country to celebrate the contributions that over 4 million Canadians of Scottish heritage continue to make to the foundation of our country. In Banff, be sure to catch the 7th Annual Rob Bosinger Memorial Race, running from April 6 to 8, 2012 (over Easter Weekend). The event is organized in honour of Rob Bosinger a.k.a. Bozo, who died suddenly in his sleep May 20th, 2005 of a cardiac arrhythmia without a known cause. In honour of Rob, and his love for skiing, this annual head-to-head dual slalom Pro-Am race appropriately called the “Bozocup” was created. For more details, visit www.bozocup.com.
