If it’s been a while since you’ve visited Canmore then there’s a good change you haven’t visited some of the newer and more exciting restaurants that now call Canmore their home.

Gaucho is a Brazilian barbecue and a meat-lover’s dream. Here the servers will bring a giant skewer of meat over to your table and slice it off for you. This is the second Gaucho location, with the first being in Calgary.

If you’ve been to Canmore, but not lately, you may know of the Thai It Up food truck, famous for its delicious Thai cuisine. Well now they have expanded, and have a small, takeout café. Thai It Up is owned by Canmore Iron Chef 2012, Kevin Bellis, and is a must-visit location.

Last (but certainly not least), Rico’s Rib House has been cooking up prime rib and other red meat. Focusing on AAA Alberta beef, this is a perfect destination for anyone who is a fan of the traditional steak house. 

Canmore has many wonderful restaurants, but if you haven’t tried any of these yet then you’re in for a treat.
